What is in the bag

MIC lipotropic blend (methionine, inositol, choline)High-dose L-CarnitineB-Complex vitaminsVitamin B12

MIC stands for methionine, inositol and choline, the three lipotropic compounds involved in how the liver processes and exports fat. Choline is required to package fat into the lipoproteins that carry it out of the liver, methionine supports that same pathway through methyl donation, and inositol is involved in fat and glucose signaling. Paired with them is high-dose L-carnitine, which transports long-chain fatty acids across the mitochondrial membrane so they can be oxidized for fuel. What this supports is the metabolic machinery you are already using. What it does not do is produce weight loss on its own, and no honest clinic will tell you otherwise.

Why patients choose The Skinny Bag

  • MIC lipotropic blend and high-dose L-carnitine at intravenous doses, absorbed fully rather than partially
  • B12 and B-complex support the energy pathways that make a calorie deficit sustainable
  • Pairs sensibly with an existing diet, training or medically supervised weight-loss program
  • Hydration included, which matters more than people expect when food and fluid intake are down
  • About an hour in the chair, no downtime

The Skinny Bag — Questions We Get Asked

Will this make me lose weight?

Not by itself, and we will not pretend otherwise. Weight loss comes from a sustained calorie deficit. This bag supports the liver and mitochondrial pathways involved in processing and burning fat, and helps with the fatigue that often derails a deficit. Patients who see results from it are the ones already eating well and training. If you are looking for a drip that works without changing anything else, this is not it and no such drip exists.

Can I have it alongside a GLP-1 medication?

Many patients on semaglutide or tirzepatide book it, and the hydration and B vitamins can be genuinely useful when appetite suppression has cut food and fluid intake. Tell us what you are taking and what dose at intake. Coordinate with the physician managing your prescription; we do not adjust or supply those medications here.

What is MIC?

Methionine, inositol and choline. They are called lipotropics because they are involved in how the liver handles fat, particularly the packaging step that moves fat out of the liver rather than storing it there. They are commonly given as an intramuscular injection; here they are part of the IV bag alongside L-carnitine.

How often would I come?

Weekly to every other week is typical while someone is actively in a program, then monthly for maintenance. That is a preference rather than a clinical requirement, and the cost adds up. Decide it against a real budget.

What does it cost?

We quote by phone. Call (754) 339-0682 and you will have the price before you book.

IV vitamin and hydration therapy is a wellness service. It is not a treatment, cure or preventive for any disease, and statements on this site have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. Individual responses vary. Nothing here is medical advice, and candidacy is determined at an in-person intake. If you are acutely unwell, contact your physician or go to an emergency room rather than booking an infusion.

Rebuild Therapy Infusions Center is a separate practice from Rebuild Med Spa (#105, aesthetic medicine) and Rebuild Regen Medical (regenerative medicine), which operate at the same street address in different suites.
