What an appointment actually involves

01

Intake

A short clinical intake covering your history, medications, allergies and what you want the drip to do. This is where we decide whether to treat you at all.

02

The line

Janelle Deal places the cannula, usually in the forearm or the back of the hand. One pinch, and then it is done.

03

The infusion

You sit in a chair while the bag runs. Most take 45 to 60 minutes. Bring a book or answer email. Most people work through it.

04

Out the door

The line comes out, you get a plaster, and there is no downtime. Drive yourself home. Eat normally.

What to expect

What IV therapy will not do

It will not treat, cure or prevent a disease. It will not substitute for a diet, for sleep, or for a diagnosis you have been putting off. If you are persistently exhausted, the useful next step is bloodwork with a physician, not a standing drip appointment. If you are acutely ill, you belong with your doctor or in an emergency room.

What it does well is put fluid and micronutrients into circulation quickly, at concentrations the gut cannot deliver, for people who are dehydrated, depleted, recovering or simply running hard. That is a genuinely useful thing. It is also the whole of the claim, and we would rather you book knowing that.

Who is looking after you

An IV clinic is only as good as the chain of supervision behind the chair. Here is ours, in full.

Where our patients come from

The clinic sits on Federal Highway in Lighthouse Point, in northern Broward County, which puts most of the county's coastal cities within a twenty-minute drive and Boca Raton, just over the Palm Beach County line, about the same.

Worth saying plainly, because most IV services in Broward are mobile: we are not. Every drip is given here, in the clinic, with a supervising clinician on site. If you want a technician at your door, another provider is a better fit.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is IV therapy and does it actually work?

IV therapy delivers fluids, vitamins, minerals and amino acids directly into a vein, bypassing the digestive tract. That part is not in dispute: intravenous delivery achieves plasma concentrations that oral supplements cannot, because gut absorption saturates. What it will not do is treat disease, replace a balanced diet or fix a problem that has a medical cause. It is a wellness service, and we will tell you that on the phone rather than sell you something on a claim that does not hold.

How much do IV drips cost in Lighthouse Point?

Pricing is quoted by phone. Call (754) 339-0682, tell us which drip you are considering, and we will give you the price before you book rather than after the line is in. There is no membership, no package requirement and no separate consultation fee.

How long does an IV drip take?

Most bags run 45 to 60 minutes. The glutathione push is quicker at 15 to 30 minutes. NAD+ is the outlier at two to four hours, because it has to be infused slowly to be tolerable. Plan your appointment around the drip you are booking.

Who administers the IV?

Janelle Deal, our Certified IV Technician, places the line and runs your infusion. She works under the supervision of Elizabeth Celestin, APRN, FNP-C and the medical direction of Dr. Cedric Emden Davis II, MD (FL ME108693), in compliance with the Florida Medical Practice Act and SB 1768.

Do you offer mobile or at-home IV drips?

No. Every infusion is given in clinic at 3320 N Federal Hwy #102, Lighthouse Point, where there is parking at the suite. We do not send technicians to homes, hotels, offices or events.

Do I need an appointment?

Call (754) 339-0682 and we will get you scheduled. Every patient goes through a short clinical intake before a line is placed, which covers your history, medications and what you are hoping the drip will do. If a drip is not appropriate for you, we will say so.

Rebuild Therapy Infusions Center is a physician-supervised intravenous therapy clinic. Infusions are administered in clinic by a certified IV technician under the supervision of Elizabeth Celestin, APRN, FNP-C, and the medical direction of Dr. Cedric Emden Davis II, MD, in compliance with the Florida Medical Practice Act (Chapter 458) and Florida SB 1768. We do not offer mobile or in-home infusions.

IV vitamin and hydration therapy is a wellness service. It is not a treatment, cure or preventive for any disease, and statements on this site have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. Individual responses vary. Nothing here is medical advice, and candidacy is determined at an in-person intake. If you are acutely unwell, contact your physician or go to an emergency room rather than booking an infusion.

Rebuild Therapy Infusions Center is a separate practice from Rebuild Med Spa (#105, aesthetic medicine) and Rebuild Regen Medical (regenerative medicine), which operate at the same street address in different suites.
