What is in the bag

Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+)

NAD+ is nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, a coenzyme derived from niacin that is present in every cell you have. It carries electrons through the reactions that produce ATP, so it sits at the center of cellular energy production, and it is a required substrate for the sirtuins and PARP enzymes involved in DNA repair and cellular signaling. NAD+ levels decline with age, which is the basis of the interest in replacing it. It is infused slowly and deliberately over two to four hours. The rate matters more here than with any other drip on the menu, and that is a comfort issue rather than a scheduling preference.

Why patients choose NAD+ Brain & Body Reset

  • Infused over two to four hours and adjusted to your tolerance rather than run to a schedule
  • Certified IV technician present throughout, with the rate slowed the moment you feel it
  • Under the medical direction of Dr. Cedric Emden Davis II, MD
  • Patients commonly report improved mental clarity and steadier energy in the days after
  • You are told plainly what the infusion feels like before you book, not after

NAD+ Brain & Body Reset — Questions We Get Asked

What does a NAD+ infusion feel like?

This is the thing to know before booking. Infused too fast, NAD+ commonly causes chest tightness, abdominal cramping, a flushed sensation and nausea. It is not dangerous and it stops within a minute or two of slowing the rate, but it is genuinely unpleasant and nobody should book without knowing that. We start slow, ask you repeatedly how you are doing, and slow it further the moment you feel it. That is also why the appointment runs two to four hours.

Why does it take so long?

Because rate is the whole game with NAD+. Pushed quickly it is intolerable for most people; infused slowly it is comfortable. Two to four hours is what it takes to deliver a meaningful dose at a rate people can sit through. Bring something to do and do not schedule anything tight afterwards.

What is NAD+ actually proven to do?

The biochemistry is not in question. NAD+ is essential to energy metabolism and DNA repair, and levels fall with age. What is far less settled is how much of an intravenous dose reaches the inside of cells, and whether infusions produce durable clinical benefit in healthy adults. Human trials are early and small. Patients frequently report better clarity and energy, and that reporting is real, but it is not the same as proof. Book it understanding that you are ahead of the evidence.

How often should I have NAD+?

There is no established protocol. Nobody has run the trial that would produce one. Some patients do a loading series over consecutive weeks and then come monthly; others come occasionally. We will discuss what makes sense for you rather than sell a package, and we will not pretend the frequency question has a settled answer.
