What is in the bag
A hangover is mostly dehydration, electrolyte loss, and the inflammatory aftermath of acetaldehyde, the compound your liver produces while metabolizing alcohol. Alcohol suppresses vasopressin, so you lose fluid faster than you replace it, and the B vitamins consumed in that metabolic pathway go with it. A bad head cold does something similar through fever and reduced intake. The Resuscitation Drip runs a full liter of electrolyte-balanced fluid alongside B-complex, B12 and magnesium, delivered intravenously so it does not depend on a stomach that is not cooperating.
Why patients choose The Resuscitation Drip
- ✓A full liter of fluid, which is doing most of the work when you are properly dehydrated
- ✓Replaces the B vitamins and magnesium that alcohol metabolism and fever deplete
- ✓Bypasses a gut that is not absorbing well, which matters most when you are nauseated
- ✓About 45 to 60 minutes in the chair, with a certified IV technician present throughout
- ✓Also the bag people book for a brutal head cold, not only for a hangover

Every patient is screened at intake before a line is placed. If a drip is not right for you, we will say so rather than sell it.

The Resuscitation Drip — Questions We Get Asked
How much does a hangover IV cost?
We quote pricing by phone. Call (754) 339-0682 and we will give you the price for the bag before you book, not after the line is in. There is no membership and no separate consultation fee.
How long before I feel better?
Most people notice the headache easing and nausea settling during the infusion itself, usually in the second half of the bag, with energy returning over the following couple of hours. The fluid volume is doing most of that work. It is not instant, and anyone who tells you it is, is selling.
Is a hangover IV actually better than drinking water?
For a mild hangover, water and a few hours will get you there and cost nothing. The case for a drip is speed and absorption: it puts a liter of fluid and the depleted vitamins straight into circulation, which matters more when you are nauseated and cannot keep fluids down. If you are functional and just tired, save your money.
Do you come to my house or hotel?
No. We are an in-clinic service only. Every infusion is given at 3320 N Federal Hwy #102 in Lighthouse Point, where there is parking at the suite.
When should I go to an emergency room instead?
If you have persistent vomiting and cannot keep any fluid down, confusion, chest pain, a severe headache unlike your usual, or you suspect alcohol poisoning, that is an emergency room visit, not a wellness drip. We will tell you the same thing if you call, and we will decline to treat if you arrive in that condition.
