What is in the bag
Hard training depletes three things at once: fluid and electrolytes through sweat, amino acid substrate through muscle protein breakdown, and the B vitamins that sit in the energy pathways driving the work. Performance Edge addresses all three. L-carnitine transports long-chain fatty acids into the mitochondria for oxidation, which is the fat-to-energy conversion step. The amino acid charge supplies substrate for tissue repair, and the mineral and B-vitamin content covers what heavy sweating and hard sessions burn through. Delivered intravenously, it is absorbed fully rather than partially.
Why patients choose Performance Edge
- ✓A heavy charge of performance amino acids plus L-carnitine, the two components doing the real work here
- ✓Replaces the minerals and B vitamins that heavy sweating and hard training consume
- ✓Booked as a recovery infusion to shorten downtime between sessions
- ✓Full rehydration alongside it, which matters more after training than most people account for
- ✓About an hour in the chair, and you can train the next day

Performance Edge — Questions We Get Asked
Should I have it before or after training?
After. Most patients book it as a recovery infusion following a hard session, a competition or a heavy training block, when fluid and micronutrient losses are real. Taking an hour in a chair immediately before you train is not useful, and being infused with a liter of fluid right before heavy exertion is not a good idea.
Will this show up on a drug test?
The ingredients are vitamins, minerals and amino acids, none of which are banned substances. One caution if you compete under an anti-doping code: WADA restricts intravenous infusions over 100 mL in a 12-hour period regardless of what is in the bag, and this bag exceeds that. Check your sport's current rules before booking. We do not provide therapeutic use exemption documentation.
Is this only for competitive athletes?
No. It is built for people training hard, whatever the level. If you are training a few times a week and eating well, the honest answer is that a good meal and a night's sleep will do most of what this does. It earns its place when the training load is genuinely high.
Does it build muscle?
No. It supplies amino acid substrate and supports recovery so you can train again sooner, which is a real contribution. Muscle is built by the training and the protein in your diet. A drip does not substitute for either.
